Iris would have been more than happy to never touch a robot ever again, but was virtually dragged back into the industry for the synthetic vocalist R-series launch. Though she worked on some of the very early models, a particular accident convinced her that they weren't worth it; she's been working low-key maintenance jobs ever since. Some people may say that she's wasting her skills only doing behind-the-scenes grunt work, but it's suited her fine. Though her casual, flippant attitude and stubborn refusal to follow dress codes may not be winning her any favors, Iris is extremely skilled with just about any sort of machinery you can throw at her.
